Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, I returned to my family roots in New York City in 2011 to study Illustration at Parsons, The New School for Design. I spent over a decade in NYC working as an illustrator and cartoonist, contributing to publications such as The New Yorker and New York Magazine. Alongside illustration, I worked as a head art fabricator, creating sculptures and couture runway pieces for the artist Chloe Wise and the fashion brand Puppets & Puppets. I also had an illustrated rhyming book published, which explores the complexities of sensuality, titled My Vag.

After years of illustration and fabrication that refined my technical and creative skills, I moved to Berlin in 2024 to shift to fine art painting. This transition emerged from a desire to move beyond literal, explicit expression and into a more telepathic space. The site of the painting plane became a place of dialogue between myself and my subconscious and intuition. Recurring themes in my practice include conflict with the physical body, dichotomy within feminine sensuality, and devout silliness. My work is often informed by psychoanalytic conversations with friends and strangers, and the subtle minutiae of human experience. I’m particularly inspired by portraiture as a means of exploring the interconnectivity of consciousness and behavioral psychology.
